![]() ![]() Even on my new computer Body Shop takes forever to load and is slow in general so that may wait a day or two depending on when I get the lot. ![]() I'll definitely let you know I've got the lot and that I can open it up (or not) as soon as I can load up the game for 2 minutes. Then double click on them and install them and they'll show up in CAS every time you load it up. I will then extract the Sims and message you back with a link to download the Sims. I'd keep the copied version as well if you don't have a back up.Ħ. This is just in case any corruption happened you've now gotten rid of it by going back to a back up. At this point you can get rid of this version and replace the one you did a back up of. I will message back if I've received it and if I can open it up and find the Sims you wish to be extracted. ![]() The lot will save to My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\PackagedLots folderĥ. Or you can upload the lot to a site like dropbox or mediafire and message me the link to it with the names of the Sims in the message. Send me the exported lot via email with the name of Sim(s) you want extracted. Message me in a PM saying you want my email. You can do this by going to the Info tab on the house, the one that shows what aspiration level your Sims are at, and selecting Package Lot. I believe you've said you play in Pleasantview so that would be N001 in the Neighborhoods folder.ģ. Like copy and paste it onto your desktop. Make a copy of the neighborhood that the Sim lives in. The last time I tried to download a popcorn machine to use on the lots, it crashed my computer.ġ. I have NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS whenever I try to use custom stuff. You do have to be using a Windows computer as it requires framework that Macs don't have. There's no risk in doing that in the parts of the program used to extract Sims. And the program used if used improperly can cause problems. It's not hard to extract Sims from the game for this purpose, but I know some people don't want to download 3rd party programs. You'll need to download a 3rd party program to do that if you made her in CAS, which I assume you did as you're asking if it's part of the base game. Is Body Shop part of the base game? I don't recall seeing it anywhere and I have a Sim I created for a test town and I want to move her, but I can't seem to be able to. ![]()
